FAQ

Airport Logistics

What’s the best mode of transportation from Logan International Airport?

We recommend using either a ride-hailing service (i.e. Uber or Lyft) or taxi. You can also book a private car service through our transportation partner, Accent Limousine, at 508-437-2262. When you book, inform them that you’re a guest at the Weinstein / Simeone wedding for a discounted price. Logan Airport can be confusing to navigate on a good day. While there is signage to guide you to taxi, ride share, or private car pickup points, don’t hesitate to ask an airport employee where to go if you find yourself confused.

Welcome Party

What is the Dress Code for the Welcome Party?

The dress code is dressy casual. We are celebrating in the Isabella’s Courtyard Garden, and we are encouraging bright colors, fabulous florals, and fun prints and accessories. Denim is also welcome.

Will Dinner be Served at the Welcome Party?

We will not be serving dinner. However, savory and sweet bites will be served, and drinks will be flowing throughout the evening. We suggest eating dinner beforehand, but maybe skip dessert.

Will Transportation be Provided to and from the Welcome Party?

Transportation will not be provided. We recommend using either a ride-hailing service (i.e. Uber or Lyft) or driving. For those driving, there is limited free and metered street parking near the museum. Parking is also available at the Simmons School of Management Garage (89-96 Avenue Louis Pasteur, Boston, MA 02115) and the Museum of Fine Arts outdoor lots on Museum Road (accessible from Huntington Ave or The Fenway).

May I take photographs during the Welcome Party?

There will be professional photographers taking pictures throughout the party. You’re also welcome to take non-flash photographs and videos.

Will I be able to tour the entire museum?

The party will take place in the “Cloisters Around the Courtyard,” which is on the first floor of the Gardner Museum. Although the galleries on the second and third floors will be closed during the event, we will be enjoying ourselves surrounded by amazing art and antiquities.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

What is the Dress Code for the Ceremony & Reception?

The dress code is formal. The internet told us that formal attire means a floor length gown or an elegant cocktail dress for women. We suggest that men wear a suit and tie. If you want to rock your tux, though, go for it!

Will the Ceremony & Reception be Indoors or Outdoors?

Both our ceremony and reception will be indoors. Regardless of what the New England weather brings, we will be protected from the elements.

Are Children Invited?

We adore your children, but we chose to make our wedding weekend adults only. We thank you for your understanding and making arrangements ahead of time.

Will Transportation be Provided for the Ceremony & Reception?

For guests staying at the hotel blocks, transportation will be provided to and from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library. Please check back for detailed logistics on timing and the pickup and drop off location for the shuttle service we’ve arranged. For those driving to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, we have arranged complimentary parking. Please note that the address is Columbia Point, Boston, MA 02125. Although unconventional, the library does not have a street number.

May I take photographs during the Ceremony & Reception?

We love photos and videos! We only ask that you refrain from taking them during the ceremony. Professional photographers will be taking pictures throughout the evening. Please be conscientious of them.
